Meet Chuck — A Journey of Faith, Service, and Resilience
In 1985, while serving in the U.S. Navy aboard submarines, Chuck and Melissa were married. After completing his military service, Chuck worked in a commercial nuclear power plant until 1995.
In the early '90s, they were blessed with two children: a daughter, April, born in 1992, and a son, Aaron, born in 1993.
In 1995, Chuck was called into ministry and pastored several churches. He was forced to retire from full-time ministry in 2017 due to progressive vision loss and eventual blindness. Despite this life-altering challenge, God opened new doors. Chuck became a Supervisor at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, where he oversaw 30 Prayer Line Associates.
In 2021, Chuck miraculously survived a massive, near-fatal heart attack. This is a powerful testimony to God’s grace and the faithful prayers of his wife, family, church, and the BGEA community.
Chuck had completely lost his sight in 2024. Undeterred, he launched Blind Faith, a ministry dedicated to proclaiming the hope and power of the Gospel.
Chuck’s life is a living testimony of God’s faithfulness — a story of courage, calling, and unshakable faith in the midst of life’s storms.
